Workshops (group only, in person or online)
WHAT IT IS:  The perfect follow-up to the group class, Introduction to Heritage Makers, a workshop is an informal gathering for people who have new Heritage Makers accounts to come together with laptops and work.  Workshops start with a Heritage Makers 101 class followed by open Q&A as everyone begins creating their projects.
COST:  Free for the first workshop, then $10/person for a 2-hour workshop if you would like me to attend additional workshops with the same group, minimum 5 attendees.  (After the first Workshop, everyone will have gotten their feet wet in Heritage Makers, so it's easy to host additional workshops on your own with the same friends in the future, as shown in the image above.)

Theme-Specific Workshops (group only, in person or online)
WHAT IT IS:  Get together with friends to create Heritage Makers items digitally on your laptops.  A Themed Workshop must be preceded by an online or in-person Introduction to Heritage Makers so that all attendees have opened Heritage Makers accounts (and, ideally, Publishing Points to work with so they'll get a discount).  Theme-Specific Workshops include but are not limited to:
  • Business Products Workshop (creating business cards, car magnets, flyers, etc.)
  • Moms, Dads, & Grads Workshop (creating gifts for spring holidays and events)
  • Christmas in July Workshop (getting a jump start on creating cards and meaningful gifts like calendars, playing card decks, photo books, etc.)
  • How to Catch Up On Your Photos (great for people who are behind preserving their photos and are overwhelmed with the thought of catching up)
  • How to Stop Being Overwhelmed by Your Photos using Yearbooks (a simple method for getting a handle on your photos and being able to preserve favorites in one place regularly)
  • How to Transition from Paper Scrapbooking to Digital Scrapbooking
COST:  Free for the first workshop, then $10/person for a 2-hour workshop if you would like me to attend additional workshops with the same group, minimum 5 attendees.  (After the first Workshop, everyone will have gotten their feet wet in Heritage Makers, so it's easy to host additional workshops on your own with the same friends in the future, as shown in the image above.)
