WHAT'S NEW AROUND HERE
It's been so hot this summer that I'm almost shocked that things are cooling down a little. Before living in one of the 5 sunniest cities in America like I do now, I lived for 5 years in upstate New York where their sunniest month, August, has 69% cloud cover and both seasonal depression and vitamin D deprivation are common. If I'm being honest, it was absolutely awful.
So I just don't have it in me any more to complain about heat or sunshine! 😁
Since our last linkup, I explored a little place in southern Colorado called Royal Gorge. You can take a train ride through it.
It was really relaxing to just meander along the Arkansas River.
One of the coolest things to see in the gorge is the suspension bridge--from underneath it! It's the highest pedestrian suspension bridge in the United States.
It was a fun getaway! I love seeing the world, nearby or far away.
