Digital images are easy to share, from texting to social media, but if you want those precious pictures to last, they need to have more to them than a jpeg file name.
You probably already know about the risks of anything digital, such as {hard drive crashes and stolen phones}. So what is important to know about digital photos and preserving them? What's the best way to store these cherished photos for years and years to come?

Michele and Shiree from {Confessions of Parenting} asked me delve into these questions and give some advice on what to do with baby pictures to make sure they are preserved.
Here at my guest blogger post you'll find answers to those questions, solutions to photo concerns, and four fantastic ideas for making those photos last. And some encouragement for moms (of all ages), too! Click and read:

Thanks so much, Debbie. And I love the postal connection on the welcome mat. So fun. Thanks for reading and commenting. :)
ReplyDeleteI loved those tips! I love the baby yearbook idea. I actually did something very similar. Great guest blog post! Visiting from Will Blog for Comments #30.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much, Stephanie! I did baby yearbooks, too, and just loved having all those little details of "first steps" and such. Thanks for stopping by and for your nice comment. :)
DeleteJennifer, yes baby yearbooks are so nice to have. Thank you for sharing your post with us at The Crazy Little lovebirds link party #30. :)
DeleteThank you for hosting, Stephanie! :)
DeleteSince I scrapbooked with all my boys' baby photos I often printed off multiples and mailed them to family members that lived further away (and then gave others to all my grandparents who always seemed to want paper photos to put in frames and around the house). I know make blank baby scrapbooks for any baby shower we attend and make sure all the photo spaces accommodate a 4x6 photo then I tuck a roll of adhesive inside too in the hopes the mom (or dad!) to be can create a quick album to look through.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fantastic idea, Joanne! Thanks for sharing!
DeleteI so need to preserve my girls baby pictures.
DeleteI appreciate you sharing this great article with Sweet Tea & Friends this month dear friend.
One of the best things about doing it is that you ENJOY it! :) And then, of course, the bonus is that you've created something cherished and shareable. Let me know if you need any help doing it, Paula. I've listed some great tools in the "how to get started" tab if you need them. :) https://lifetalesbooks.blogspot.com/p/how-to-get-started.html
