FAQ
Why digital?
First, there's no "right way" to scrapbook, except for two things: 1- quality so your book will last for many, many years to come, and 2- something you will love and therefore do.
I personally choose digital because it's faster and easier, taking up less space in my house than the papers and scissors and stickers (and table space) I needed when I was a paper scrapbooker. I like that instead of having to crop (cut) a photo to make it fit, I can easily resize, zoom in, etc.
I also love the ability to print multiple copies with just the click of a button, and for safety reasons I like that my scrapbooks exist both digitally and in print. (I have scanned my old paper scrapbooks for the same reason.)
Why digital just to print it?
Aside from what I mentioned above: Accessibility! Yes, I print my digitally-created scrapbooks because print is an easily-accessible form of seeing and also sharing (and gifting!) photos and memories. Print doesn't need a full battery in an expensive gadget. Plus, photo experts still recommend print as an important way to store photos and memories, in addition to digital forms.
SOMETHING SPECIAL FOR PAPER SCRAPBOOKERS
This month I have something special for paper scrapbooking friends who worry about only having one copy of their scrapbooks.
There's nothing better than a lovingly-created scrapbook page.
🔥Except fireproofing it!🔥
Right now through June 30, FOREVER has a special Scrapbook Page Digitization Box! You can get 100 scans (50 double-sided pages) for $100, with additional scans available at $1 per side. This service helps safeguard years of creative work—capturing photos, handwritten notes, and layered designs—while making it easy to enjoy, share, and print in the future.
Order your Box before June 30 for the $1 per page price (minimum 100). It will include packing instructions and bar codes so your special pages can be tracked every step of the way. (If you read this after June 30, 2026, you can still digitize your scrapbook pages with a regular FOREVER Digitization Box at regular prices.)
Thanks for stopping in. See you at next month's Scrapbook Look! (Or, first click the Scrapbook Look tag at the bottom of this post to see more scrapbook pages.)

Such great scrapbooking pages!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much, Amy! :)
DeleteYour scrapbooks are beautiful and so much fun to see. You're very creative. I'm visiting from Will Blog for Comments.
ReplyDeleteThank you kindly, Carol. I love combining creativity with photos and memories (and sometimes videos, too). It's definitely a self-care event for me. :)
DeleteJennifer! You have so many cool things to scrapbook about! I love the swimming with the stingrays page and the Harry Potter page!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Helen. I love to scrapbook the good stuff and the wonderful memories. It balances out the rest of life sometimes. :) It's therapeutic to be creative with photos and memories, too. Glad you enjoyed these pages. Thanks for stopping in!
DeleteThose pages are beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much, Joanne. :)
DeleteI love your scrapbook look. What a vacation! Are those sting rays? Or manta rays? It's beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for sharing with Sweet Tea & Friend's this month sweet friend.
Thanks so much, Paula! Yes, I could not believe how out-of-this-world amazing Grand Cayman was. I looked up the difference before I made the scrapbook, so I can answer with authority: they are sting rays. They rarely sting here, though, because they're so used to humans and see them (us) as a food source. Thanks for stopping in to check out these pages. :) And thank you for hosting!
DeleteYour scrapbooks are so adorable! I can almost feel the water myself in your photos. We returned home yesterday after a week at the ocean. I can still hear the waves in my ears....
ReplyDeleteThank you, Lisa! I love that you're feeling the water in the photos. I am a beach girl, through and through, so I can appreciate your feelings entirely. Happy you got to spend a week at the ocean. My sister calls the sound of the waves "Mother Nature breathing."
DeleteFun pages! And so much variety.

Thanks so much, Amalia. :) Yes, I like to switch up styles and layouts for each event/focus as much as I can, just for fun. Thanks so much for stopping in to check out the pages.
DeleteI love that quote about scrapbooking being a way to "re-love" memories! Your pages are beautiful.
ReplyDeleteMe, too, Lisa. My sister-in-law said it and I kept it for myself. ;) Thank you--I'm glad you enjoyed the pages.
DeleteHi, Jennifer. Thank you for sharing your homepage at Life Captured's HomePage Linkup Party! Not only linking but commenting as well. I am currently a Forever member. Not sure if you remember me. I had to buy a laptop to use with the Artisian software. I admit, I have yet to master the program. I have decided to invest in a pc laptop with more ram and storage. Storing my files on an external drive is not user friendly. Looking to upgrade the PC (My main computer is a MAC) next month. Hopefully I'll catch one on sale ;)
ReplyDeleteHave a fun week.
All the best.
Debra @ Life Captured
Of course I remember you! :) I'm glad you've got a FOREVER account with some permanent Storage. I agree with using an external hard drive for Artisan files--it's SO cumbersome. Good luck catching a laptop on sale--that's a smart idea. Artisan is amazing but does take some time and/or tips to master. I'll text you and see when would be a good time for me to go over the basics with you--or here's a video tutorial about it. https://youtu.be/GXMkxa5yslo?si=vROm9EMCrz7uoH5L Thanks for stopping in!
DeleteThat looked like an incredible vacation and preserved so nicely in scrapbooks!
ReplyDeleteIt was an anniversary trip, and it was absolutely incredible. I've been to a good handful of islands and beaches, but there is nothing in the world like Grand Cayman. Amazing. Thanks for your kind words about the scrapbooks. So happy you stopped in, Heather!
DeleteYes, I received your text. My plan is to check out the video tutorial once the new computer is set up and Artisan installed. Now that I'm semi retired, it's true. Seems like I am just as busy as when I was working a full time job. This summer, I am spending the days with grandgirls. And I need to figure out how to organize my time. Just my blog seems to take me so much time. Maybe that will be a good survey post?! ;)
ReplyDeleteWonderful! :) Yes, I know how you feel--time is at such a premium. Yes, that's probably a great survey post. I had a client once who would work on scrapbooking with a kiddo on her lap. It took a little longer (and she did work later on her own time when she could be faster), but she said she loved making memory-keeping a connection time with that child. So, who knows where Artisan could lead. :)
