Thanksgiving Table Ideas to Make Your Holiday Memorable (great host gifts!)

Will you be the host of Thanksgiving dinner this year, or the guest?  Either way, I have some unique ideas to share with you today to make your Thanksgiving table memorable.

These ideas are both fun and meaningful.  They are great to have at the table if you're hosting Thanksgiving dinner, but it also makes an impressive gift for the host if you're a guest!

idea #1:  "GIVE THANKS" PLACE CARDS

First, place cards!  This cute 3x2 card is designed as a Thanksgiving table place card.  Just write names on the front!  This card is business card-size and comes in a pack of 50 so you'll have plenty to go around--for years to come.  They're double-sided, so everyone at the table sees Give Thanks while the person at the seat sees his/her own name.  I love that I can re-use these year after year.

I really like the design, so I didn't want to change much.  Below you can see the front and the back.  I like having the "give thanks" message on the back for others at the table to see.

idea #2  PUZZLES with 2 OPTIONS  (family photo OR dinner conversation starters)

This table idea is new in 2025 because the conversation cards I made previously don't have an exact product equivalent now.  But what's great about that is that there are two options now! 

Option 1: Family Photo Subway puzzle

Option 2: Dinner Conversation Starters puzzle

I think this is such a fun idea!  And I really had fun creating this for you, let's be honest.  This is an activity (puzzle) that doubles as fun way to spark conversation around the table!  Because I've already designed it for you, you just order with a click.

The puzzle will come in a box like you saw up with the Family Subway Puzzle, which will include an image of what the puzzle is supposed to look like on the front.  This puzzle has 252 pieces and is finished at 11"x14".

Non-meal-preparers can do this puzzle before Thanksgiving dinner so the questions here are accessible to talk about during the meal (do the puzzle and take a picture of it, if needed), or it would make a lovely after-dinner activity, too.

Again, I think this is a lovely, unique thing to gift whoever is hosting your Thanksgiving dinner, and an equally lovely, unique thing to gift your guests if YOU are the host.

idea #3:  "COUNT YOUR BLESSINGS" BLOCKS

This table idea is new in 2025, too, and I like this idea so much better than my previous one (napkin rings made from stickers) anyway.  😁

This cute Thanksgiving decor is made from this scrapbook page and a 4-foot section of 2x4 (wood found at home improvement stores).  You'll simply order this print, cut out the pieces, and adhere them to wood.  There are even directions right on the print!  You can see an example at the bottom right of what these blocks will look like when finished.

This could make a lovely centerpiece on a table, or just a nice host gift for seasonal home decor anywhere around the house.

I love these fun things I can do to make my Thanksgiving table unique, and I love what a special gift I can give to the host as a guest.  It just takes a little planning ahead, but you'll be able to add a special, unique touch to Thanksgiving that will last for years to come.
